Axios’ film and television translation department has many years of experience in film and TV translation and proofreading. We are well versed in the broadcasting standards and translation requirements for broadcasting platforms ranging from cinema chains, domestic and foreign television stations through to new media. Film and TV translation is one of Axios’ core services. Our dubbing translation team is led by our senior translators Ms Tu Weizhong, Ms Ma Huiyun and Ms Liu Xiaowei who understand the specialized translation requirements of the dubbed film industry. Our high-quality translations, with precise lip-syncing, where the personality of each onscreen character is distinct and coherent, are well received by our clients.
At present, Axios’ dubbed film translation team primarily provides services to clients including CCTV-6, CCTV-8, CCTV-9, CCTV-10 and China Film Group Corporation. Many of the programs we have translated for CCTV-6 have been recommended by their critics choice programs such as The Best and Sunday Selection.
Our translation team has been trained by senior translators in the industry such as Ms Tu Weizhong whose skills have been developed over years of experience translating films for Warner and CCTV-6 (movie channel)

Our documentary film translation services are the embodiment of Axios’ translation concept of a “combination of a large platform, excellent quality, internationalization and localization”. To handle the translation between Chinese and English for documentary films, Axios assembled a specialist team of advanced translators and expert proofreaders who are either native-born or who have studied or worked in the United Kingdom and United States. Our highly integrated team creates quality translations for documentary films, which allow the promotion of excellent documentary films from China and abroad to international and domestic markets. At present, Axios’ documentary team provides services to CCTV-2, CCTV-9, CCTV’s English Channel, China Global Television Network, Beijing TV’s Documentary Channel, and the Golden Eagle Documentary Channel.
Regular training is given in translation orientation, style and standards by the director of CCTV’s English section, commissioning editors and foreign expert proofreaders to guarantee the accuracy and fluency of translation and meet the needs of the broadcasting platform and target audience.
